San Ignacio University gifts smiles to Ronald McDonald House’s hospitalized children in South Florida.

Dr Federico Martinez, president of our university, confirmed an alliance with the Ronald McDonald House through a recent Christmas toy donation to benefit the most needy.

San Ignacio University, for the fifth consecutive year, carried out the day of toys donation to  Ronald McDonald House Charities, located in South Florida, with the purpose of gifting smiles to the most needy during Christmas festivities.

This activity emerges as an internal initiative of the university in which our administrative, management and corporate staff join forces through the collection and donation of toys for the low-income families that have hospitalized babies, children, and adolescents at the Ronald McDonald House facilities.

This year, the donation was carried out last Monday, the 19^th of December, and it was attended by all the university staff and the Roland McDonald House team; on this opportunity, San Ignacio University managed to benefit around 40 families, among which is a significant number of immigrants and people who are in an extreme poverty condition.

“We want to be part of the holiday celebrations, bringing our help, support, and love to all the families who are at the Ronald McDonald House today, going through a difficult time with their children’s health. We are here to gift a smile with toys donations and to recognize and thank their work. We will continue supporting them and promoting social awareness for the benefit of those who need the most”, Dr. Federico Martinez, president of San Ignacio University, declared. Ronald McDonald House opened its doors 40 years ago in South Florida and, since then, the have not stopped their work and support for those in need. At present, they have 40 rooms, and it is estimated that they manage to impact the lives of more than 350 families per year. San Ignacio University calls on the institutions and general public that can support this type of organizations that look out for the health of hundreds of children and their families.

The purpose of San Ignacio University is to continue generating alliances for the benefit of the community through the execution of events, campaigns, and initiatives of social impact, understanding the key figure that they have within society as a key piece to develop agreements between companies, students, graduated students and general public.
